Book Brett Dooley.
Live acoustic music for venues, private events, and festivals in Tucson and Southern Arizona. My set leans folk, country, and Americana, with familiar pop and rock songs that fit naturally into that sound.
Frontman of Whiskey Treats — voted both Best Country Act and Best Folk in Tucson Weekly's 2026 Best of Tucson.
See what the live show sounds like.
A look at the solo acoustic set: real songs, real performances, and a feel for what works in the room.
Music that fits your space.
Sometimes the best live music is the kind that lets people talk, eat, and enjoy the room. Sometimes the crowd wants to sing along. I can move between those moods with a broad repertoire and an approach that puts the audience and venue first.
I provide my own professional sound setup for typical solo performances, coordinate requirements in advance, and make the load-in and soundcheck as straightforward as possible. For larger events or special production needs, let's talk through the setup first.

Experience without a lot of fuss.
I've spent more than a decade performing solo and with bands across different types of stages and events. I also lead Whiskey Treats, winner of Tucson Weekly's 2026 Best of Tucson awards for Best Country Act and Best Folk. I take the music and the business side of a booking seriously, and I try to make the process easy for everyone involved.
Do you bring your own sound system?
Yes, for typical solo venues. If the space is unusually large or has special production needs, we'll talk about those in advance.
Can you play background music as well as a more energetic set?
Yes. I adjust the repertoire, pacing, and volume to suit the space and audience.
Do you take requests?
For casual shows, absolutely, when it's a song I know and it fits the setting. For private events, we can talk through favorites and preferences ahead of time.
What does it cost?
It depends on the date, location, duration, and event requirements. Send the details and I'll put together a quote.
Let's talk about your event.
Send me the date, location, approximate performance time, event type, and a little about what you're looking for. I'll follow up about availability, setup, and a quote.
